Hello Nigerians, we all know Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) is necessary so as to vote for one’s political candidate in the country. I don’t need to waste your time here by defining what PVC is or telling you its uses.
So, I will be brief as i explain to you, how to check your permanent voters card status online. This will let you know if your PVC is ready for collection at your registration ward.
Permanent Voters Card Status Checking
All you need to check your PVC readiness is your Voter’s Identification Number (VIN) or date of bitrh.
Firstly, visit here http://www.inecnigeria.org/?page_id=2160
Scroll down and select any of the checking options you prefer.
For VIN checking option, select “Check Status Using VIN” . Enter the required details, eg. your last name (surname), state of registration, etc.
Complete the security check by clicking the box and click check status. Your card details will show up immediately if ready for collection. (sample at the end of article).
If checking with date of birth, select the “Check Status Using Date Of Birth”. Enter the required details, eg. State of registration, first name, last name (surname) and date of birth.
Complete the security check and click on check status.
When you input the right information for checking, it’s either your card is said to be not ready or ready.
If ready, you will see a detailed information of your card as seen in below image.
When you have your information displayed to you, you can go to your registration center and exchange your temporary issued voter’s card to permanent voter’s card (PVC).
